Bu yıl 26-28 Eylül tarihlerinde gerçekleşeceği belli olan uluslararası sanat fuarı ArtInternational, geçen yıl olduğu gibi ziyaretçileri Haliç Kongre Merkezi’nin terasında karşılayacak.

Fuarın “By The Waterside” bölümünde sergilenecek heykeller arasında ünlü Katalan sanatçı Jaume Plensa’nın işi de bulunuyor.

Uluslararası sanat fuarı ArtInternational’ın Haliç Kongre Merkezi’nin terasına özel hazırlanan açık hava heykel galerisi “By The Waterside”, bu yıl da dünyaca ünlü sanatçıların çalışmalarını bir araya getiriyor.

Birbirinden etkileyici 9 heykeli Haliç’in eşsiz görüntüsüyle bütünleştirecek “By The Waterside”da yer alacak sanatçılardan biri de Katalan sanatçı Jaume Plensa olacak. Kamusal alanlara yerleştirilen devasa heykelleriyle çok konuşulan Plensa’nın, meditasyon yapan ve harflerden oluşan bir insan figüründen oluşan heykeli “TRIPTYCH”, Mario Mauroner Gallery ile İstanbul’a gelecek ve fuarın terasında sergilenecek.

Görenleri adeta büyüleyen ve şoke eden işlere imza atan Piensa, Latinceden Yunancaya, İbraniceden Arapça ve Japoncaya, dünyanın tüm dillerini insan bedeninde topladığı heykelleriyle de tanınıyor. Çocukluğundan beri edebiyata düşkün olan sanatçı, bu çalışmalarında Shakespeare, Oscar Wilde, Baudelaire, Edgar Allan Poe gibi hayran olduğu şair ve yazarların cümlelerini kullanıyor.
